How I Made It

No crew, no assistant, no second pair of hands. One camera, one person, and everything that went wrong on the way. Some of these would give the film away, so they wait until you have watched it. The rest are open to everyone.

Therukkoothu

Sankagiri Rajkumar is a fifth-generation Therukkoothu artist. On stage he performs one kind of story only — the greatness of the Tamil kings.

It began in Cambodia in 2018 with the story of Nandivarman. Since then: Kumana Vallal, Adhiyaman, Paari Vallal, the Kadai Ezhu Vallalgal, Thirumudikkari, Rajendra Chola, Raja Raja Chola — carried to Tamil people wherever in the world they live.

In Chicago, USA, he staged the largest Therukkoothu performance in the world and set a Guinness World Record.

How to watch

After you pay, the film opens on this same page. If anything goes wrong, look below.

How to watch on a big TV screen

1. If you have a smart TV — open the TV’s own web browser. It may be called Browser or Internet. Type onemanmovie.in there. Pay, and the film opens on the TV itself.

2. If you have a laptop — open the site on the laptop and join the laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable. What plays on the laptop shows on the TV. This is the easiest way.

3. From a phone to a TV — if you have Chromecast, or screen mirroring on the TV, you can open the film on the phone and send it to the TV. On some TVs mirroring is stopped for safety reasons. If that happens, use way 1 or way 2.

After you pay, you do not have to type the code. The film opens by itself. It can take half a minute. Please do not close the page.

I lost my code, or no e-mail came

You do not need the code. Press “Already paid?” above the film and type the mobile number you paid with. The film opens.

This works on any phone, any TV, any computer, any time within your 60 days.

If it still does not open, send us the number you paid with on WhatsApp and we will help at once.

The film stops in the middle

Almost always this is a slow internet connection. The film plays in HD, so it needs a good speed.

What to do: sit closer to the WiFi; stop other downloads in the house; then refresh the page and open the film again. It starts from where it stopped.

The time you watched is not lost. You can watch up to five times in 60 days.

My money is gone, but the film did not open

Please do not worry. Your payment is with us. Wait half a minute without closing the page. Most times the film opens by itself.

If it still does not open, send the payment screenshot and your phone number on WhatsApp. We send the code at once. You do not pay again.

How much can I watch with one ticket

There are three tickets, and all three are the same film in full, for 60 days starting the day it first plays — not the day you pay. What differs is how far one ticket stretches. Single, ₹112: up to three screens (phone, TV or computer — any three), five plays. Family, ₹399: five screens, ten plays. Group, ₹899: ten screens, twenty plays.

When you finish the film, the making videos open on the same page.
